I’ve been losing my hair for the past year all in my crown area. I was diagnosed with male pattern baldness in 2007. I have tried many products for my hair loss.
now this is scary, trying propecia and having no results… propecia is basically all you can really do to control the hormones killin ur hair, if that doesnt work it must be something else. try using a laser comb to increase circulation honestly it might be something more serious if propecia isnt working.

@davedaddy101 Yep, in all regards. I am 45 and by the time I am 50-55 I will be completely bald. The first person in 150 years in my family (as far back as I could trace) to be bald and my ancestry is filled with races with long and/or lush hair (Native American, etc…).
I have to wash my hair daily since my hair loss began. Growing up I had to wash my hair every 3 days then when I got into my 30′s I had to wash every 2 days and for the last 8 years it was everyday and now it is twice a day for the parts that are losing the hair.
What sucks is that not a single person in my family tree (for the last 150 years) was bald.
look for something called leimo. Its in the UK and Australia.
What are you crying about? There are millions of men all over the world with hair loss. I have NO hair on my entire body. I have not a single straw of hair on my head, no eyebrows, no beard, no arm pit hair, no arm hair, no leg hair, nothing. Yes I am male and I deal with it. Stop crying you baby!!
When the crown starts to thin to a certain point, combing it differently or growing your hair longer will NOT hide MPB. I think you should try cutting it shorter.

what you have not tried is an inside solution, please give a try to follow the Zone Diet, go buy all the books by Dr. Barry Sears, specially Omega Rx….and stop being bald. Best wishes

@bboyblue24 easy for you to say. Try living with the fact that woman will reject you or that you won’t be given a chance at love because of it. Or that you won’t ever have sex again.

@bboyblue24 I don’t agree with that. Hair loss sucks. Especially when you are in your 20s. It effects the quality of women that you are going to attract. It is the 1st thing people see when they look at you, it effects the way potential employers look at you unfortunately. Friends and family members will constantly tease you thinking its funny, And it kills your self esteem. I don’t think this kid is being irrational at all in being concerned about his hair.
Almost all men lose their hair. it’s just matter of time. I am losing my hair too and as a ts woman its a BIG issue having spent ages in front lots of mirrors crying. Hey, you are a man and masculine men go bald…

@Odio I agree it really sucks, I’m only 21 and noticing my hair loss but i think it started when i was 18.
It’s hard loosing your hair, especially when you are young. This young man seems to be dealing with It pretty good. Im 47 years old and It’s getting thin, so I take some extra suplements. Im around NW 3, I hope to at least to slow down the thinning process. Thanks booger for sharing your thoughts on this topic
I accepted hair loss…lol and I gotta tell you women LOVE it when you shave it all the way.
Solution is shave it and go to a gym and get buff…That’s what I did and I get checked out a lot.
Vitamins? Herbal stuff? Drugs? Look, this is what a baldning man should do: get a haircut! Being bald is HOT and looks very masculine. Be a man!

Have you tried bald spot concealers? Substances that cling to the hair you have left over your bald spot.
