@ToffeeChips19: Same here! I’ve been relaxing my hair on my own for the past 11 years and my hair is just as good now as it was then and I ain’t bald either. Like you say, as long as you follow the directions and don’t abuse them, they’re great.

Angela – if you live in MN did you hear about Good Look Ink in MN? A great solution for anyone with hair loss.

    @ToffeeChips19 I can’t put no kind’s of chemicals on
my hair, my hair is too full of sorts and itches. Cause,
tried that stuff once, and I almost lost my hair, because
    of it.

@ToffeeChips19 Are you crazy? You’re gonna spend
relaxer? Y’all need to get rid of these chemicals, I’ll
tell you why, I’m 47 year old African American woman,
and my hair just start growing. I did cut my hair, and it’s
growing right back faster, than when my mother useto
    combed my hair.

@Modacolorist I think it seems to me, that alot of black
women, seems to stop doing their own hairs. Back in
the old days, I don’t remember any African American
women, ever stop doing their own hairs.

Of course she’s gonna say that, “nuturing” the hair of others is how she pays her bills!

They aren’t saving money. When you damage the hair you have to spend so much more to either fix it or cover it up. Just save up your money and go to a good professional :-D

Try wearing your hair the way God gave it you?

  16. ToffeeChips19 // May 16th, 2010 at 12:26 am

I rather pay 4 to 8 dollars on a relaxer kit at a store, then pay 50 to 80+ dollars in a salon, and wonder how my hairs gonna come out! I’ve been relaxing my own hair for 15teen years! And I ain’t bald! As long as you don’t abuse relaxers, you’ll be fine!
